Meet Krista​

​

Hello, I am Krista Holden. A mother to two beautiful boys; one in heaven, and one earth side. 

 

On May 18, 2008 I welcomed my sweet baby boy, Aedan Douglas into the world. He was perfect in every way. We had 5 beautiful hours with Aedan before he died. Saying hello and goodbye on the same day was beyond devastating. 

 

I felt so alone, scared and struggled immensely. My world was shattered and I wasn’t sure how I’d ever survive without Aedan. 

 

In June of 2022, I attended the Together in Healing Perinatal Loss Bereavement Retreat with my best friend. It was a beautiful weekend of healing, connecting and holding space with other loss moms. It filled my heart with love and hope. After years of grieving the loss of our beautiful boy, I had found my community. 

 

I am honored to be part of this loving community, a board member and get to help other families navigate this difficult journey. All in memory of the beautiful boy who made me a mom, Aedan.
