Volunteer With Twinkle Star Project
Every helping hand makes a difference. Our volunteers bring comfort, compassion, and hope to families across Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta who have experienced perinatal loss. Whether you have creative talents, organizational skills, or a caring heart, there’s a place for you in our community.

We ask that all volunteers register using the form below, so we can stay connected and reach out as new opportunities arise.
You do not need to be a loss parent to volunteer, all are welcome.

The Basket Project

The Basket Project was the very first program created by Twinkle Star Project, and it remains at the heart of what we do.

Each basket is thoughtfully filled with handmade items, keepsakes, and resources for families who have lost a baby, offering comfort and a reminder that they are not alone.

We are always looking for volunteers who love to knit or crochet to help create the beautiful blankets and comfort items that go into these baskets. Every stitch carries a message of love and remembrance.

Whether you make one item or many, your contribution helps bring warmth and compassion to families during their most difficult moments.

If you are in need of a basket, or would like to request a larger amount of baskets please email: TwinkleStarBaksets@gmail.com

Together in Healing Women’s Retreat
Next retreat: June 5–7, 2026 — Arlington Beach, SK

Our annual Together in Healing Women’s Retreat is a weekend dedicated to connection, reflection, and healing for women who have experienced perinatal loss.

We welcome volunteers to help with planning, organizing, set-up, and take-down, as well as behind-the-scenes tasks such as booking venues, preparing materials, and coordinating meals or activities.
We also encourage volunteers with relevant skills or experience to lead workshops or programs during the retreat. If you have a skill, idea, or expertise that could benefit participants, you are warmly invited to run a session, even while volunteering in other capacities.
By volunteering, you help create a peaceful space where participants can feel supported, understood, and surrounded by compassion.

Silent Hearts Walk

The Silent Hearts Walk is a day of remembrance and community connection, where families gather to honour their babies and children gone too soon.

Volunteers are essential to the success of this meaningful event. Opportunities include helping with planning and preparation, event set-up and take-down, registration, guiding participants, creating displays, and organizing materials.

We also welcome volunteers with creative or facilitation skills who would like to lead or assist with activities, reflection stations, or other healing components during the event.
Every volunteer plays a part in creating a day that brings comfort, remembrance, and togetherness to our community.
