Meet Cassie

 

I am so proud to be part of the Twinkle Star Project. 
 

After the stillbirth of my son at 34 weeks in March of 2023, I found myself searching for support at a time when everything else seemed to fall through and coping felt impossible. In that search, I found the Twinkle Star Project. Its support groups, events, fundraisers, and community — which became a lifeline during a period of deep grief and isolation. Connecting with other mothers and parents who truly understood my loss helped me feel less alone and continues to support me as I navigate grief. I am deeply honoured to now give back to the organization that held space for me when I needed it most. In August of 2024, I welcomed a daughter, and walking through both loss and love has deepened my compassion and commitment to supporting grieving families.
