The Starry Night Remembrance Gala is an evening of remembrance, connection, and compassion, created to honour babies who have left this world too soon while supporting families navigating pregnancy and infant loss.

This meaningful gathering brings together loss families, community members, and supporters for a night that balances reflection and hope. Through shared moments of remembrance and community support, we honour the love that continues beyond loss.

Proceeds from the Starry Night Remembrance Gala help fund Twinkle Star Project’s free and low-cost programs, including peer support services, remembrance events, and healing opportunities for families across our community.

Whether you attend as a loss parent, in memory of a loved one, or as a community member standing alongside grieving families, your presence helps create a space of understanding, care, and support.

What can I expect during the evening?

  • Guests can expect a thoughtfully planned evening that includes a buffet-style dinner, multiple remembrance components to honour babies lost too soon, meaningful speeches and shared stories, children’s activity options, and fundraising elements such as a silent auction and a 50/50 draw. The evening is designed to balance reflection, connection, and community support.

 

Can I include my baby’s name in the remembrance?

  • Yes. Information on how to submit your baby’s name for inclusion in the remembrance portion can be found in Zeffy while purchasing your ticket.

 

What is the dress code?

  • We encourage guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Guests are welcome to choose clothing that feels respectful, comfortable, and appropriate for an evening of remembrance and community.

 

Will there be assigned seating?

  • Yes, seating will be assigned. Guests who purchase tickets together will be seated together whenever possible. If you are purchasing tickets separately from the rest of your group, please ensure you complete the seating request section on Zeffy when prompted to indicate if you would like to sit with other ticket holders. Please note, tables will seat 10 guests.

 

Are tickets refundable?

  • Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest. Please contact us in advance to update attendee details.

 

Will there be fundraising activities during the gala?

  • Yes. The gala will include a silent auction, 50/50, and donation opportunities. Participation is always optional.

Where do the funds raised go?

  • All proceeds support Twinkle Star Project and its programs that provide support, resources, and community for families experiencing perinatal loss.

Are sponsorship opportunities available?

Is the gala accessible?

  • Yes, the gala is hosted in an accessible venue. If you have specific accessibility needs, please specify them when purchasing your tickets so we can accommodate you.

Will food allergies or dietary restrictions be accommodated?

  • Yes. Dietary restrictions and allergies can be noted during ticket purchase or communicated to us in advance.

Will children be allowed to attend?

  • Yes, children are welcome to attend. Although the event will primarily be adult focused, some children's activites will also be included.
