Our Community Partners
Prairie Heart Counselling
Lower Level, River Heights Mall — 2752 Montague St, Regina
#13 – Prairie Heart Counselling
Serving Saskatchewan and Alberta through in-person and virtual counselling
Twinkle Star Project is proud to partner with Prairie Heart Counselling, a compassionate team dedicated to supporting individuals and families through every stage of healing.

Together, we ensure that no family faces pregnancy, infant, or child loss alone. Twinkle Star Project proudly sponsors Prairie Heart Counselling’s Early Pregnancy & Infant Loss Peer Support Group, a free, peer-run group that meets weekly on Monday evenings from 6:00–7:30 p.m. in Regina. This group is open to the public and provides a safe, understanding environment for parents to share, connect, and find comfort alongside others who understand their journey.
In turn, Prairie Heart Counselling generously sponsors our annual Silent Hearts Walk and offers ongoing support for our Together in Healing Women’s Retreat, extending their care and compassion beyond the counselling room into the wider community.

Their dedicated team — Lindsay Gareau (MSW, RSW), Heather Davidson (BSW, RSW), Leila Zanidean (BSW, RSW), and Sara Halipchuk (MSW, RSW), provide counselling services, workshops, and group facilitation that foster connection, understanding, and hope for families across Saskatchewan and Alberta.
We are deeply grateful for this partnership and for the shared belief that healing grows stronger through compassion, community, and collaboration.
Shauna Giesbrecht Counselling
2300 Broad Street, Suite #109 — Regina, SK
In-person and virtual counselling services available across Saskatchewan

Twinkle Star Project is proud to partner with Shauna Giesbrecht Counselling, whose dedication to accessible and client-centered care aligns beautifully with our mission of community support and healing.

Shauna was a sponsor of our 2025 Silent Hearts Walk, and we are actively collaborating with her, Prairie Heart Counselling, and the Saskatchewan Perinatal Health Network to revamp our Peer-to-Peer Online Support Program— ensuring families across the province can connect safely and meaningfully, no matter where they live.

Shauna offers counselling services both in person and online, providing vital access for those in rural areas or anyone facing barriers to attending sessions in person. She encourages clients to reflect before and after each session, focusing intentionally on their goals and personal growth — an approach that nurtures healing and empowers each individual in their journey.

We are deeply grateful for Shauna’s partnership and look forward to continuing to grow our collaboration to better support families navigating loss throughout Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Perinatal Health Network (SPHN)
Supporting families across Saskatchewan through education, counselling, and peer connection

Twinkle Star Project is grateful to partner with the Saskatchewan Perinatal Health Network (SPHN), an organization dedicated to improving perinatal mental health supports and resources throughout the province.
This year, SPHN joined us at our Silent Hearts Walk, where their team member, Lin, attended with information and resources, offering support to anyone in need throughout the event. We are also working closely with SPHN to develop and strengthen Twinkle Star Project’s Peer-to-Peer Online Support Services, expanding access to safe, meaningful connections for families navigating pregnancy and infant loss.

SPHN provides a range of valuable supports for families and professionals, including:
-
Weekly Peer Support Groups — Creating opportunities to connect with others who share similar lived experiences, fostering understanding and community.
-
Prenatal Education Series — A six-week program in partnership with The Nest Health Centre, designed to help expectant parents feel informed and empowered.
-
Clinical Counselling — Virtual one-on-one counselling for adults 18+, provided by Registered Social Workers (RSWs) specializing in perinatal mental health.
-
Prenatal & Postpartum Peer Support Sessions — Private, non-clinical sessions led by trained peers with lived experience, offering safe spaces for parents experiencing Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

We are thankful for SPHN’s continued collaboration and commitment to improving perinatal mental health care across Saskatchewan and look forward to growing our partnership in the years ahead.
