This gathering is for bereaved parents and family members to share in a discussion with bereaved parent, and perinatal loss author and speaker, Sherokee Ilse. This evening will provide connection to parents and families who have experienced perinatal loss.

About The Event
This gathering is for bereaved parents and family members to share in a discussion with bereaved parent, and perinatal loss author and speaker, Sherokee Ilse. This evening will provide connection to parents and families who have experienced perinatal loss. Perinatal loss includes pregnancy loss in any form (loss of pregnancy, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, termination, stillbirth, and newborn death).
Topics that may be presented and discussed include: couple communication; validation of feelings; viewing selves as parents forever; how to talk to family members, children, and friends about your loss; finding a support network; peer to peer support and use of social media to access support for grief and loss.
Who should attend? Parents and family members who have experienced perinatal loss. Child care will be provided for families.
