Section 1: Scope of Services

Executive Coordinator: The Executive Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administration & programs of the organization. Other key duties include marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

 

1) Works with the board in order to fulfill the organization mission.

  • Responsible for leading Twinkle Star in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Board of Directors.

  • Responsible for communicating effectively with the Board and providing, in a timely and accurate manner, all information necessary for the Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.

  • Responsible for implementation of Twinkle Star’s programs that carry out the organization’s mission.

  • Responsible for the enhancement of Twinkle Star’s image by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with other professional, civic and private organizations.

  • Responsible for producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

 

2) Oversees and implements appropriate resources to ensure that the operations of the organization are appropriate.

  • Responsible effective administration of Twinkle Star operations including social media promotion, responding to inquiries, fulfilling orders and general administration. 

  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.

  • Responsible for organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Responsible for attracting and retaining volunteers.

  • Transparent and high integrity leadership

  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation

  • Ability to convey a vision of Twinkle Star’s strategic future to staff, board, volunteers and donors

  • Skills to collaborate with and motivate board members and other volunteers

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to interface and engage diverse volunteer and donor groups

Section 2: Guide to submissions

   2. Twinkle Star Project operates a safe recruitment process and appointment to the post will be subject to suitable references and an enhanced criminal           record check. 

Section 3: Terms of the contract

  1. Duration of contract - effective Dec 1, 2020 to June 1, 2021.

  2. Compensation - $8,000 to be paid out monthly in increments of $1,333.
