Meet Chelsey
I am honoured to be part of the Twinkle Star Project, a mission that holds a deeply personal place in my heart. After my husband and I welcomed our daughter in 2014 we experienced three pregnancy losses (The babies were all between 10 and 12 weeks). It was an isolating and heartbreaking time that forever shaped our family.
I choose to live my life pretty privately, and while friends and family encouraged us to continue growing our family—something we deeply wanted as well—there are some things in life that are simply beyond our control. In 2019, we welcomed our son, but the love and wonder for the babies we lost remains an important part of our story. I will always be incredibly grateful for my husband who supported me through some of those dark moments.
I first learned about the Twinkle Star Project when I received a basket following our last loss. The comfort that I felt in that moment inspired me to help ensure no family faces pregnancy loss alone. As a Member at Large, I am committed to supporting the organization’s mission to shine a light on the reality of pregnancy loss and to offer compassion, understanding, and hope to others walking a similar path.
"Loss may break our hearts, but our babies felt only love, never pain."
