Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support — Aimee Chammartin
Aimee Chammartin is a certified Pregnancy and Infant Loss Doula with Doula Canada and a member of the Sacred Path Doula Services team. Following the loss of her son at nearly 24 weeks in 2015, Aimee experienced firsthand both the profound impact of compassionate support and the harm that can come from well-intentioned but unhelpful responses. Guided by her lived experience and professional training, Aimee now supports other parents through the unimaginable loss of a child, offering care rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect.
Aimee provides pay-what-you-can services to parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss at any gestation, for any reason. Her supports include in-person labour and delivery support, emotional support in person, by phone, or text, meal preparation, resource navigation, assistance with funeral or memorial planning, and help coordinating practical supports such as childcare, pet care, and household tasks, allowing families the space and time they need to grieve and heal.
