Remembering babies gone too soon.
Meet Taylor

My name is Taylor Stevens (they/them). My partner, Amanda, and I lost our first baby Luca suddenly on March 19th 2020, at 24 weeks during the peak of Covid. It was an extremely isolating and difficult time. A year later our second baby Silas was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and was born at 25 weeks on June 29, 2021 and joined his brother shortly after. I joined the Twinkle Star Project to help anyone and everyone who has experienced any kind of baby loss.
Emotional support and a strong community can help a person who has been through trauma, and I am honoured to be a board member for the Twinkle Star Project. As a queer person it is important to me to represent and support non-birthing partners and help to heal the whole family while they navigate such a devastating loss. At Twinkle Star we support all family constellations and I’m proud to be of service.
I will dedicate my time and energy to help as much as possible and to honour Luca and Silas with every breath.
